ROSS TIERNEY Peacefully on December 6, 2003 Austin "Ross" Tierney passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital with his close friends at his side. Ross was born and raised in Saskatoon. He moved to Manitoba in the early 1970s and was employed with Swift Canadian Poultry for many years as a hatchery manager, most recently in Niverville. Ross was an avid reader, and he had a deep appreciation of art and music, especially jazz. He also enjoyed travelling, spending many winters in Arizona. Ross was predeceased by his parents, Del and Cassie Tierney. Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 15 at 10:30 a.m. at P. Coutu Funeral Home, 156 Marion St, with Rev. Gordon Shields. A heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff at St. Boniface Hospital, 5B, for their care and concern. He will be deeply and lovingly missed by all whose lives he has touched.
