WAYNE BARTNISKI It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Bartniski on Thursday, December 11, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife Carmelle of 31 years; his children, Julie, Keith (Kim), JoAnne (Phillip) and his grandchildren, Nickolas and Katelyn; mother Angeline; three sisters, Grace (Don), Rachel (Wendell) and Mona (William) Carmelles three sisters, Yolande (Alex), Suzanne (Claude) and Lise (Vince) five brothers, Patrice (Yvette), Yves (Claire), Bernard, Jacques (Linda) and Michel (Judy) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his father Joseph; mother-in-law Jeanne; father-in-law Noel; brother-in-law Hubert; and grandparents. Wayne grew up in Sprague, MB, where he learned to love hunting, fishing and camping. His favourite moments were spent gardening and tinkering in the garage. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., with a viewing one hour prior to the service, on Tuesday, December 16 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint), with Father Gerry Ward officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Waynes memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation.
