JOSEPHINE MARIE DESJARLAIS Peacefully on Dec-ember 10, 2003, Josephine Marie Desjarlais, born in St. Francois Xavier on December 2, 1914, widow of Theodore Desjarlais, passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by a daughter in infancy and a son, Maurice in 1993. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Elie, Gilbert and Oliver and a son-in-law Bernard Toupin. She is survived by her daughters, May (Paul) Renaud, Doris (Maurice) Gobert, Muriel (Stuart) Pearase, Rita; sons, Roy of Montreal and Hector, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Ed Barron and sister Albertine Nanosky of Winnipeg. Josephine enjoyed gardening her flower beds, her pets, bird, dog, etc. Prayers will be held on Monday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16 at 10:30 a.m. also in Green Acres Funeral Chapel. The family wishes to thank the staff at Central Park Lodge and the Victoria Hospital for their professional care and compassion.
