STANLEY FOX It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stanley Fox on November 30, 2003. He was predeceased by his wife Freda; as well as his parents, Bronya and Manya. He is survived by his daughters, Carla (Wayne) Vickar, and Marcia (Ben) Haber. Grandfather to Melissa and Joshua Vickar and Alicia, Katie and Zoe Haber. Also a brother to Mina (Meyer) Engel. Stanley was born in Kosova, Poland in 1924. He and his family immigrated to Canada after the Second World War. Shortly afterward he met and married Freda his wife of 40 years. Stanley lived his life on his own terms. He was strong willed and his determination allowed him to live his life independently. Stanley was a regular at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue and we know his synagogue family will miss him as well. Stanley was devoted to his family. He had a heart of gold and missed Freda every day that she was gone. We love you and miss you Dad and Zaida. Funeral was December 2 at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue. Pallbearers were Stephen Freed, Lewis Rosenberg, Alan Rosenberg, Sheldon Zamick, Steven Zamick, Kerry Bloomfield, Yale Shaffer and Bob Kessleman. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
