JOHN KENNETH SANDBERG Born: February 18, 1928 Peacefully, on Friday, December 12, 2003, our dear husband, father and grandfather, passed away after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy "muscles" of 54 years of marriage; brothers, Arnold (Emma) and Lorne (Pat) sister Iris (Ken) and his children, Arlene (Aime), John (Vivian), Lorna (Guy), Paul (Bonnie) and Garth. Grandpa "Boo" will be missed by his nine grandchildren, Tracy, Michael, Eric, Daryl, Leanne, Adam, Jonathan, Andrew, Garth Jr.; and great-granddaughter Sheridan. John had a love of all sports but particularly boxing and baseball. He had a unique sense of humour that will be missed by all. John retired from the C.P.R. (Weston Shop) after 44 years. Respecting Johns wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Our family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Riverview Health Centre (3E) and the home care nurses.
