DANIEL LEONARD March 30, 1960 - December 13, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dan Leonard, peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at the Riverview Health Centre. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sharon, and his sons, Mark, Kevin and Scott. Besides his wife and family he will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Pam (Jim) Dillon and Kelley (Ron) Beatty; his brother-in-law Brad (Carolin) Wilson; his mother-in-law Charlotte Wilson; the Wachtendorf family and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dans career at Shoppers Drug Mart was a big part of his life and he drew tremendous strength from their support during his illness. The family would like to thank Drs. Tan, Maksymiuk and Garcia; Nurses Mona and Bonnie; and the staff of Riverview and CancerCare Manitoba for their excellent care. A special thank you goes out to Laurie, Brian and Teresa for their constant support and encouragement during this difficult time. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Meadowood United Church, 1111 Dakota St. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Meadowood United Church with interment to follow at the Niverville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to TD Canada Trust, Branch 0585 (985-4670), 36 Lakewood Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R2J 2M6, cheques must be payable to Mark, Kevin and Scott Leonard in trust.
