EDITH CECILIA REDMAN 1909 - 2003 Edith slipped away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on December 12, 2003 with her family at her side. Edith was born on July 26, 1909 in Newport Gwent, South Wales. The family moved to Elmwood/East Kildonan where they made their home. The last 40 years she spent an increasing amount of time at her beloved Grand Beach. She was predeceased by her parents, brother and sisters. She is mourned by her sister-in-law Alice, her nephew Raymond (Joanne), their children, Jocilyn (Bob, Kevin and Marc), Lori (Kelsey and Kendyl) and Stephen (Mary). Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Ste. Theresas Roman Catholic Church, Grand Beach in the spring. The family would like to thank the staff at Tudor House in Selkirk and Drs. Lindenschmidt and Demsas for the tender care shown to Edith in her final years. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
