JAMES EDWARD HECTOR WAINWRIGHT Jim Wainwright passed away peacefully at home on December 12, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 54. He will be sadly missed by his wife Betty; daughters, Nadiene and Nicole; parents, Harold and Muriel; sister Cheryle Phillips (Don) brothers, Rick (Joan), David (Carita) mother-in-law Mary Hardy; father-in-law Gabe Hardy; brothers-in-law, Bob (Cindy), Willy (Lynn) sisters-in-law, Susan Janz (John), Helen Longmuir (Doug), Carolyn OToole and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was born and raised in Brandon and moved to Winnipeg in 1981. He enjoyed fishing, curling and being outdoors. He loved his family and enjoyed each and everyday. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the 17th Wing Community Chapel, Whytewold and Silver. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at Riverview Palliative Care and CancerCare Manitoba for their kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jims memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
