Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA KLASSEN July 30, 1913 - December 14, 2003 Maria Klassen, of Winnipeg, formerly of Lowe Farm and Morris, passed away on Sunday December 14, 2003 at Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home. She is survived by her sons, Jake and wife Leona, Martin and wife Sally; daughter Kathy; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Corny Friesen and Bishop John Friesen. Maria was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Erdman E. Klassen, in 1985. Viewing will take place at Morris Funeral Home, in Morris, on Tuesday December 16, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at the Kronsweide Sommerfeld Mennonite Church near Lowe Farm on Wednesday December 17 at 2:00 p.m. with interment in the Kronsweide Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Canadian Cancer Society.
