MOTHER ALICE MAY WILLIAMS (NEE BROWN) Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. Proverbs 31: 25, 26 Alice May Williams peacefully joined her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on Friday, December 19, 2003. Alice was 79 years of age. Alice was born on July 25, 1924 in Amber Valley, Alberta. Alice and Lee were married in 1944. Those who will miss her most are her children, Sharon (Andre), Leonard (Pat) and Valerie (Bill) 9 grandchildren, Tanya, Andre, Michelle, Travis, Derrick, Robert, Kamara, Khaleal and Lauren; and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie Gingera, Geraldine Bertrand and Eldra Brown; sister-in-law Cordie Williams and brother-in-law Eddie Bailey and a host of relatives and friends. Alice Williams was predeceased by her husband Lee, by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. P.H. Brown; father, Clifford Brown; mother, Carola Fitzgerald, and brother Wilfred Brown. Alice Williams was a faithful servant of the Lord and served in many, many ministries, and retired from Red River Coop after 25 years of service. A Celebration of Alice May William?s life will be held Monday, December 22, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 41 Maple Street with Rev. Kibwaa officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Andre Denson, Travis Williams, Derrick Williams, Robert Williams, Khaleal Williams and godson Bruce Tynes. Honorary pallbearers are Andre Denson, Bill Thomson, Louis Brown, Carl Tynes, Eddie Bailey, Mike Gaston and Arthur Berry. The family wish to thank Dr. Wong, Dr. Crowe, Dr. Khan, nurses and staff on 3E at Riverview Health Centre for the fine care and love shown to our Mother and us.
