JAMES DUFFERIN MOLLARD Peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2003, at the Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg, James Dufferin Mollard, aged 86 years, beloved husband of Alberta Mollard, of St. Vital, Winnipeg, and formerly of Balmoral, MB. Surviving besides his beloved wife of 64 years, Alberta; two sons, Dwight (Cindy) and Dwaine (Shirley) four grandchildren, Brett, Becky, Jamie (Brenda) and Jolene. There are numerous nieces and nephews, family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Lottie Lee Mollard; two sisters, Ivy Helgason and Ione Tatlow; and brother Ellsworth Mollard. Dad was born December 22, 1916, at Balmoral where he received his education and farmed. In 1956 Duff moved to Winnipeg where he continued to work in sales because of the love and meeting of people. Duff was a devoted family man who loved nature and appreciated life in all aspects. The family would like to thank Dr. Cummings and staff on the 5th floor of the Victoria Hospital for their wonderful care and support. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel (433 Main St.), Stonewall, MB. The service will conclude at the chapel. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, MB. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of arrangements.
