Moms greatest love was her family and grandchildren. She loved them all dearly, always concerned and interested in their lives and was always ready to listen, advise and help them in any way she could. Her love was boundless. Her passion of knitting and crocheting helped to warm many small hands and tiny bodies and she spent countless hours enjoying her craft. The many mitts, sweaters and afghans in so many of our homes is a testament to her passion and love of her hobby. She greeted everyone with a smile, kind words and offered her delicious baking or a good hot meal. She loved having people around her and will be missed by all who knew her. Mom lived in Crystal City until 1999, when she moved to Prairie View Lodge in Pilot Mound. This became her home where she received wonderful care from all the nurses and staff. Funeral service for Mom will be held at Crystal City United Church on Friday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Johnson Kottaram officiating. Ash interment following the service in Crystal City Cemetery in the family plot. Flowers are gratefully declined; however, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Rock Lake Handi-Van or Prairie View Lodge in Pilot Mound. Grahams Funeral Service of Pilot Mount is in care of arrangements. 825-2848. Remembering a Special Woman Because of her our own small world will never be the same, And all our hearts are filled with love when people speak her name, But though her face may not be seen among us here today, Her love is filled in all the hearts she changed along the way.
