BERNICE MARY LADD (nee ENGLAND) Bernice Mary Ladd, nee England, born November 21, 1911 passed away at the Grace General Hospital on Monday, December 15, 2003 at the age of 92 years. Bernice was predeceased by her loving husband Harry in 1984. She was also predeceased by all of her siblings, three brothers, Roy, Gordon and Louis and two sisters, Francis and Jo. She is survived by her two sons, James and Howard (Pat) three grandchildren, Chris, Marnie and Aedan; sister-in-law Jean England. Bernice will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and aunt with countless friends and bridge-playing cohorts (they know who they are). Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Paul The Apostle Church, 2400 Portage Ave. on Saturday, December 20 at 10:30 a.m. The service will terminate at the church; cremation will follow. Interment of Bernices cremated remains will take place in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. at a later date.
