IAN ROSS MacDOUGALL Peacefully, with his family by his side, Ian passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at the age of 63. He leaves to mourn his wife Edith; daughters, Marilyn and Suzette; son Randy; brother Rory (Gloria) and sister Lois (Joe) grandson Montana and granddaughters, Melanie, Lindi and Vivian. Ian was predeceased by his son Ross in 1998 and mother Alma in 2000. He was born on Tuesday, August 20, 1940 in Pointe Du Bois, MB. After high school in Flin Flon, MB, Ian travelled to L.A. to pursue his musical dreams. Later, he followed his chosen path in sales, and worked for Barkman Concrete for 21 years until his retirement in 2000. In December 2002, Ian was diagnosed with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrigs Disease). He maintained his dignity and courage through a devastating year. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. The family would like to thank the A.L.S. team at Deer Lodge, and to Dianas tireless efforts for the cause. A heartfelt thank you to the GHG ward at H.S.C. who made Ians final days comfortable. Special thanks to Rainer, Shirley and Aime, Joanne and Harry and Mickey and Marcel for their tireless support to us during this somber time.
