Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM HARVEY BARTLEY Peacefully on December 17, 2003, Harvey passed away at the Boundary Trails Health Centre. Harvey was born October 25, 1916 in Carman, MB. He left home at the age of 26 to serve his Country. On December 30, 1943 Bessie Eby joined him in Red Deer, AB and they were married. Upon his return he farmed in Roland for the rest of his life. He was well known as the man who could fix anything and everything. If you couldnt buy the part, he would make it. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories daughter Irene Phillips (Don) son Barry (Beth) granddaughters, Deanna Black (Rob), Shari Phillips (Brent Aeichele), Heather and Amy Bartley; grandsons, Glen and Greg Bartley; great-grandchildren, Michael Phillips, Tyson and Taylor Black, and Brock Aeichele. He also leaves sisters, Myrtle Young, Trudy Svoboda; brothers, Allan Garfield Bartley, David Bartley and long time family friend Judy Orr of Innisfail, AB. He was predeceased by his wife Bessie in 1992; one brother and numerous brothers-in-law. Harvey will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Funeral service will be held from the Carman United Church in Carman, on Friday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m. with Chuck Ross officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery.
