SUSAN FRANCES ANDERSEN (nee CRANWILL) Susan Frances Andersen, born May 19, 1947, in Winnipeg, MB, passed away peacefully December 17, 2003, in Duncan, BC, with family and friends by her side. She was predeceased by her mother Caroline Frances Cranwill; and her father John R. (Jack) Cranwill. Susan is lovingly remembered by her husband Knud; daughters, Carrie de Boer (Craig) and Elizabeth; her brothers, John, Glenn (Gerry), Ken (Diana) her mother and father-in-law Hans and Gerda Andersen; sister-in-law Ellen Andersen; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Susan graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. She moved to the Cowichan Valley in 1969 and married in 1970. She took great pride in serving this community as a pharmacist for 33 years. Her greatest joy in life was the love she shared with her family and friends. Everyone admired her strength and her commitment to life. The family thanks the caring staff at the Cowichan District Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Duncan United Church on Monday, December 22 at 1:00 p.m. "Susan, you go in peace and the angels lead you into paradise." In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Susans memory to the Cowichan Hospital Foundation.
