JULIA BALOGH Julia passed away peacefully on December 19, 2003, just 2 months short of her 100th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband Lajos in 1981 and son-in-law Joseph in 1999. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Magda, grandchildren, Shirley (Blair), Peter (Lisa) and Joe (Christine) great-grandchildren, Chris, Caitlynn and Curtis, and several grand nieces and nephews. Julia was born in Hungary in 1904 and came to Canada in 1964 with her husband. She was an avid gardener, reader and loved to sing. The family wishes to thank the staff of the second floor of Poseidon Care Centre for all their care and kindness. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service on Tuesday, December 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Julias memory to a charity of choice.
