MARGARET ELIZABETH CRAMP On Monday, December 15, 2003 in her 86th year, Beth Cramp passed away peacefully at the Christian Science Nursing Home in Toronto with her daughter Susan by her side. Beloved mother of Frederick and his wife Elizabeth of Oxford Mills, Susan Jackson and her husband Bill of Peterborough and Lorraine of Winnipeg and cherished grandmother of Karen and her husband Julian of Toronto, Laura and her husband Michael of Brandon, Wendy and Cindy; she will be deeply missed. Beth was predeceased by her husband George in 2000 and sister Gertrude in 1990. Beth was born in Winnipeg on January 17, 1918. She graduated in 1939 with a B. Sc. of H. Ec., the first of three generations of Home Economists in the family. She was an active member of the First Church Christ Scientist in Winnipeg. Other interests and activities included various sports, bridge groups, cultural events and travelling. Beth relocated to a retirement residence in Peterborough in 2001 after residing in Winnipeg for 83 years. Beth was happiest when her family was around her. On January 31, 2002 she was blessed with the birth of her only great-grandchild, Alexandria, whose visits always brought her great delight. Beth faced the past three years of continuous change with dignity and grace. Never one to complain, she was determined to make the best of each day and enjoy it to the fullest. There will be a memorial service at the Free Methodist Church (Lansdowne Street East Peterborough) on Tuesday, December 23 at 2:30 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
