JOHN WILBUR KENNEDY John was born on May 16, 1912, at Winnipeg, MB, passed away December 16, 2003. He was predeceased by his devoted and loving wife of over 50 years, Margaret Coulter (nee Irvine) and predeceased by his son Peter William. John is survived by his loving daughter Joan Reid of Toronto; his brother "Pete"; and sister-in-law Margaret, Winnipeg; sister-in-law Mary Irvine, Vancouver. John is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, all of British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario. John and Margaret resided in the Parksville - Qualicum Beach Community, BC, for the last 30 years. They were both very involved within the community. Special and loving thanks to Janet Gage, Bunty Schofield, Molly McEvoy and Barbara MacDonald for all of their continuous friendships during these last years. Special thanks as well to the 3rd floor staff of the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for their thoughtful and compassionate care during Johns last days. Thank you also to the Qualicum Beach Policing Staff, your morning call was a bright start to Johns day. Johns life will be celebrated and honoured during a memorial service to be held at the St. Stephens United Church, Qualicum Beach, BC, at a later date, early 2004.
