JAMES ROBERT McNEILLY A memorial service for the late James (Jim) Robert McNeilly, 72, of Burnaby, (Vancouver) B.C. took place on Saturday, November 29 in the Amenity Room at 5550 Beresford St., Burnaby, BC. Mr. McNeilly passed away peacefully November 8, 2003, after a nine year battle with emphysema. Born in Winnipeg, he was the son of the late Isaac and Margaret (Lavallee) McNeilly. He grew up in Winnipeg and at an early age entered the trucking industry as a driver of big rigs. He moved to Vancouver in the 50s where he continued his love affair with trucks and trucking, local and long distance, retiring in the early 90s. He is survived by Shirley (Rioux) his wife of 30 years; stepdaughters, Gerry (Steve), Linda (Ted) stepgrandchildren, Tom, Deanna and Victoria; brother Mike (Ruby), and sisters, Margaret (Edison) Joan (Jean) Sheila (Harvey) Annie (Cliff) Judy; Patsy (Richard) nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by brothers, Walter (Judy) Leonard (Lillian) Peter (Marien) sister Rita Belanger (Ron) nephew Derek.
