LYLE MCKAY Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Lyle passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on Friday December 19, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife Bernice; daughter Debbie Cozens; two granddaughters Leahanna and Sabrina Cozens; brothers Keith (Doris), George (Bev), Jim (Blanche), and Harold; sisters Shirley (Bob) and Marion; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lyle was predeceased by his parents and his two sisters, Margaret and Lorraine. Lyle worked with CNR and then Via Rail for 42 years as a Sleeping Car Conductor. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially duck hunting and fishing at his brothers cottage in Lee River. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with interment and reception to follow. Pallbearers will be Jim McKay, George McKay, Bob Owens, Fred Loudon, Rob Armstrong, and Domenic Bosica. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria General Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy, R3T 2E8, or the Riverview Health Centre Foundation, 1 Morley Avenue, R3L 9Z9.
