Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOTTALYNE "MAE" DUPLAK (PECKOVER) Ottalyne "Mae Duplak (Peckover), 77, died peacefully at home, Saturday, December 13, 2003. She was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Peckover, and Jane Lawson Peckover (Pratt). She is survived by her sons, Randall Robert Duplak, Halifax; Lawrence Shayne (Linda) Duplak, Winnipeg; grandson, Colin Duplak, and granddaughter, Chelsey Duplak, Winnipeg. She was predeceased by brothers, Murray and Andrew Peckover; sisters, Ella Walker and Edythe Kinaschuk. Mae was a lady who was always there for family, friends, or strangers who needed help. She tended to them during their illnesses, and comforted them in their grief. There was also a special place in her heart for her beloved animal companions. Cremation as requested has taken place. A memorial service in Halifax was held at The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection on December 18. A memorial service will be held early 2004 in Winnipeg.
