VERNON "CHAPPY" ERNEST ALDEN FOSTER October 27, 1931 - December 21, 2003 It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of our father and pappa on December 21, 2003 at the Concordia Hospital. He leaves to mourn his seven daughters and one son and their families, Denalda (Jim) Whitehill, Brenda (Ed) Unger, Sheila (Danny) Pronteau, Verna (Dave) Livingstone, Kim (Eric) Hau, Cindy (Mike) Livingstone, Kandis Foster, Vernon "Boomer" Foster; 19 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and his three brothers and their families, Bob (Eleanor) Foster, Stewart (Sandra) Foster, Barry (Cheryl) Foster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Chappy was predeceased by his loving wife Donna on October 19, 1992. He will be missed by his black lab companion "Sheba". We thank the neighbours, Steve and Lorraine and family, John and family, for their companionship and assistance. Cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will be held at a later date in Somerset Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
