Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRUCE ALLEN ANDERSON It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Bruce on Friday, December 19, 2003, at his home in Coquitlam, BC. Bruce was born on April 29, 1958, in Winnipeg, youngest of three children, to Wanda and Will Anderson. In 1962 the family travelled to California and later returned in 1970. Bruce met his wife, Karen James, while at River East Collegiate. The two married August 16, 1980 and raised two children, Jennifer and Christopher. Career choices for both Bruce and Karen gave them the opportunity to move the family out to BC in 1998 where they currently reside. Bruce was a strong and loving family man, enjoying the accomplishments of each, especially the scholarships and awards his children earned. The love of his family was the joy of his life. He had an outgoing personality and often hammed it up for pictures. Bruce had a wonderful sense of humour and offered a generous, easy going companionship to all those who crossed his path. Bruce leaves to cherish his memory his wife Karen; daughter Jennifer; son Christopher; parents Wanda and Will Anderson; brother Sonny; sister Wendy (Ron Bunio) mother-in-law Ruby James; sister-in-law Charlene and Rick Stroet (children Randy and Vicky), sister-in-law Linda and Sven Barca (children Amy and Michelle) brother-in-law Karlton James; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cremation takes place on Tuesday, December 23, 2003, with a memorial service to be held on Saturday, December 27, 2003. Interment to follow on Monday, December 29, 2003, in care of the Valley View Funeral Homes in Surrey, BC. Sincere and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sedergreen, Dr. McKinnus, Dr. Lee and the nurses Janice, Jean, Kia and Barbie of The Fraser Health Home Care Nursing for their care and compassion; and Pastor Towriss of Hope Lutheran Church for his guidance and spiritual strength. Flowers gratefully declined and, if friends so desire, donations in Bruces memory can be made to the Cancer Society, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B 2H8.
