ANTHONY (TONY) ENGEL June 8, 1918 - December 22, 2003 It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of Tony Engel on Monday, December 22, 2003. Tony was predeceased by his wife Jean Engel in November, 2002. He is survived by his children, Ed (Sheila), Lloyd (Vicki), Marge (Cas), Joyce (Don), Carol, Len (Linda) and Diane (Lyle) his beloved grandchildren; great-grandchildren and relatives. Before retiring to Winnipeg, Tony worked many years at the Dryden Paper Mill, enjoying his job as a welder. He was an avid driver and travelled many miles through the United States and Canada, along with his wife Jean. Tony took pleasure in visiting with family, summer barbecues and being outdoors. Tonys funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m. in Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave. at Belvidere Street. For those who wish, visitation will be held one hour prior to his service in the church.
