Date of Passing: Dec 23, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE FREDERICK GOODMAN GAYTON It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our father on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his children, Bob (Eileen), Donna Lee (Peter), Margaret (Murray) and Susan as well as his five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, of 60 years and missed her terribly. Dad proudly served his country in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1929 to 1960 and spent most of his retirement years travelling with his beloved wife and companion, Margaret. Thank you to the Masons for all their support since Mom passed. Dad was a proud member of the Beaver Lodge for greater than 60 years. Thank you to home care, especially Colleen and Charlene and also to Tina at Seven Oaks Hospital, for your hugs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be in Dads name to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 10, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. A celebration of Dads life will be held Sunday, December 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 54 Primrose Cres., Winnipeg.
