GERALD BUTLER Gerald Butler passed away suddenly at his home in Duncan, BC, Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by his wife Gard; two brothers, Leonard (Alice), George (five years old) one sister Jean (Norman). He is survived by one daughter Linda (Colin) of Port Hardy; one granddaughter Janet; one brother Reg (Ollie) and several nephews and nieces. Gerald grew up in Elm Creek and joined the R.C.A.F. as a mechanic and was sent overseas. On returning he started a garage business in Duncan and eventually selling it and retiring. His main hobbies were fishing and golfing. A memorial service will be held in Duncan at a later date. Sands Funeral Service care of arrangements.
