ALICE TAITE 1925 - 2003 It is with deep sadness we mourn the passing of our beloved mother, Alice, after a sudden illness that took her from us December 23, 2003. Mum came to Canada from England, where she grew up in the Potteries of Staffordshire. She was a past resident of the Elmwood area, and worked for many years at the Hel-Ern restaurant at Henderson and Johnson. She made many friends over the years, and all who met her, knew of her kind heart and quick wit. Her family and friends will dearly miss her; husband Robert, daughter Angela, sons, Geoffrey, Andy and Laurie, as well as many grandchildren and a recent great-grandchild. A family service will be held at Brookside Cemetery.
