MARIE HOULE August 20, 1929 - January 1, 2004 On Thursday, January 1, 2004, Marie Houle passed away at the Ste. Rose General Hospital at the age of 74 years. Marie was predeceased by her son Wilfred Houle; her parents, Abraham and Mary Louise; her half brothers, Edward, Roland, and Andy; her half sister Mary Catherine Catcheway; her sister-in-law Jane Houle; her brother-in-law Lionel Gabriel and her son-in-law Leslie Spence. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish many fond memories, her children, Felix and friend Barbara of Ebb and Flow, Johnny Houle and wife Vera of Ebb and Flow, Margie and friend Saul of Winnipeg, Janet and friend Gordon of Ebb and Flow, Patsy of Ebb and Flow, and Lena and husband Rufus of Ebb and Flow. There are 25 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren; her brother Joe Houle and wife Rose of Ebb and Flow; her sister Helen Gabriel of Winnipeg; her aunt Jane Catagas and husband Joe of Valley River; her sister-in-law Dorothy Houle of Ebb and Flow; her daughter-in-law Lena Flett of Berens River, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A traditional Wake and prayer service will begin on Tuesday, January 6 at 5:00 p.m. from Maries residence in Ebb and Flow. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Ebb and Flow, MB. Fr. Dominique Kerbrat will officiate with the interment following in the Ebb and Flow Cemetery. Ste. Rose Memorial Chapel, Ste. Rose du Lac, MB, in care of arrangements (204) 447-2444.
