PEARL ADELINE DAY July 13, 1921 - December 26, 2003 Pearl passed away peacefully, early on December 26, 2003 at the Poseidon Care Centre. Pearl is predeceased by her mother, Pearl M. Day; father, Herbert Day; brothers, Jack Keeler and Bert Day; sisters, Berna Haney, Muriel Bolton, and Dorothy Convey. Pearl will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members, and many friends. Pearls unselfish heart will be remembered by shutins she visited, and members of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, where she sang on occasion with her sister, Dorothy. She also enjoyed the ballet, the symphony and travelling to many vacation spots. Pearl was born in Treherne, MB and resided most of her life in Winnipeg. Her entire 39 year working career was dedicated to the Manitoba Telephone Systems, where she retired from in 1981. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearls name to a charity of ones choice. Interment will take place on Tuesday, December 30 at 9:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Westworth United Church, 1705 Grosvenor Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
