HENRY ALFRED JOHNSON 1914 - 2003 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of their father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Saturday, December 27, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital. Henry was born in Yarmouth, NS on March 22, 1914. He moved to Winnipeg in 1955 and worked for the Canadian National Railway for a number of years. He later worked for the T. Eaton Company until he retired. Henry was a veteran of the Second World War. Henry was predeceased by his daughter Henrietta Johnson, brother Albert Johnson, sister Irene Frances and brother-in-law Gerald Frances. Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife Bessie Johnson and two children, Victor Johnson and wife Maria and Carolyn Logan (Johnson) three grandchildren, Sherri Kowalchuk and husband Howard; Vicki Johnson; grandson Kristen Logan; and great-grandson Austin Henry Lloyd, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wish to express their appreciation to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care, kindness and compassion during this difficult time. Friends may call at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway for viewing on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2004 at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1567 William Ave. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cathedral Cemetery.
