RICHARD "RICK" JOHNSTON October 14, 1947 - December 27, 2003 In loving memory of Richard A. Johnston of Winnipeg, MB. Rick was a kind and generous man who loved to laugh and help people. He enjoyed sports and spending time with his grandchildren. Rick was a community leader who coached baseball, hockey and floor hockey. He took a group of inner city kids, turned them into a team, and to everyones surprise, took them to the provincial championships in their first year playing together. He recently received his grade 12 diploma. (He wanted to prove its never too late to finish high school) He was planning on entering the field of family counselling. Rick will be sadly missed by his wife Caroline; stepsons, Harlan, Jeff, Dwight, Burton, Glenn (Deer Lodge Hospital), Lorne and Gordon (Wendy) Parisian; daughters, Lisa, Corrinna and Barb; daughters-in-law, Joannie, Sonya and Sharon; sisters, Patty, Joanne, Helen; brothers, Tommy and Eugene; nieces Nancy and Angel; nephew John; grandchildren, Sarah, Josh, Jared, Jordan, Nicci, April, Seppel, Nikolai, Tristen, Shadrack; close friends, Mel, Aurora and family, Eda, Gladys and Ivan, Rose and Syd, Ruby and Glen; as well as numerous family and friends.
