JOAN McINTOSH (nee CLARK-MILES) On Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, Joan passed away in her 82nd year. Survived by husband Wesley H. McIntosh; sons, David Evans, Frank Evans and Glen Evans; daughters, Chris Diamond, Lesley Cowell; stepson Wesley Gerald McIntosh; stepdaughters, Bonnie Violet McIntosh, Villa Dayle McIntosh and son Miles Nigel McIntosh. Arrived in Canada from London, England in August, 1944. A retired government employee of the Department of National Defence, Department of Transport, The Diplomatic Corps (served for a year in London, England from 1966 to 1967) and Customs and Excise. Retired after 25 years of service in order to enjoy travelling around the world with her husband. Joan was also a lifetime member of the I.O.D.E. Memorial service and reception for family and friends was held at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Rd. W, Oakville, ON on Monday, December 29 at 4:00 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the I.O.D.E.
