WILMA MABEL SHELAGA (nee WEDGE) July 8,1931 - December 26,2003 Died suddenly the morning of December 26, 2003. Wilma was born in Winnipeg and grew up on the family farm in East Rosser. In 1955 she moved to Ottawa, ON and married Bill Shelaga. Wilma returned to Winnipeg in 1980 and worked as a Health Care Aide at Golden West Lodge until her retirement in 1996. She is survived by her daughter Sheryle Shelaga; son William Shelaga and two grandchildren, Kevin and Connor. She is also survived by her sister Irene Johnson (nee Wedge) and brother Ken Wedge and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Patricia Wedge and Beatrice Plishka (nee Wedge). Respecting our mothers wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba in Wilmas name.
