EILEEN MILDRED ZAPSHALA (nee TOWLE) Following a lengthy illness, Eileen Zapshala, age 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2003 at Riverview Health Centre. Eileen leaves to cherish her memory husband Sidney; daughter Lynn Harris (George) grandchildren, Jennifer, Melville and Matthew; brothers, Bill and Steven (Herta) best friend Dodi Stevenson. She was very much loved by her nieces and nephews who were very much loved by their aunty. Eileen will be sadly missed by her many, many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Daisy Towle; brothers, Dale and Garnet (Mildred) sisters, Mollie (Gordon) and Mabel (Kazmir) niece Wanda (Rodney) Wasylenko. Eileen bowled for many years in the Ladies Bowling League at Billy Mosienko Lanes. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and an associate legion member of the Brooklands-Weston Legion II. She enjoyed bingo and had a love of animals especially for her cat Amber and cockatiel Kujo. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Riverview Health Centre 3E for their wonderful care. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2004 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. with viewing one half hour prior to the service. Interment Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Casselman, Bob Kayanka, Guy Towle, George Harris, Wayne Tomlinson and Rod Wasylenko. Honourary bearers will be Melville and Matthew.
