MICHAEL DOYLE Born in Winnipeg, MB, July 2, 1927, passed away in Victoria on December 31, 2003 at the age of 76, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Michael is survived by his wife of 55 years Frances and his sons, Richard (Beverley) of Hamilton, ON, Patrick of Victoria, BC; Michael (Emily) of Surrey, BC, his daughter Margaret (John) of Abbotsford, BC; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Michael is also survived by three brothers and two sisters as well as many nieces and nephews. He was an office volunteer for many years at the Oak Bay Volunteers, Victoria, BC and was a member and president of the Monterey Seniors Association, Victoria, BC. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Service, 1155 Fort St., Victoria, BC, 384-5512, followed by a reception at the Monterey Centre, 1442 Monterey Ave., Oak Bay, 370-7300. At Michaels request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria Hospice Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
