ALICE MARGARET HERRING December 4, 1921 - December 30, 2003 Alice passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. She was predeceased by her husband Bud on February 20, 1993, and her daughter Valerie on December 14, 2003. She is survived by her son Barry, daughter-in-law Judy and granddaughter Samantha of Australia; son-in-law Bob, granddaughter Pam (Scott), great-grandchildren, Cory, Samantha and Kirsten; grandson Sean (Kim), great-grandchildren, Desiree and Nathan. She also leaves behind Brian, Vern and Joan and there families of Calgary; sister-in-law Kay and her family of British Columbia; sister-in-law Hilda (Wally) and her family of Winnipeg. She was also predeceased by her brother Jimmy; sisters, Gladys and Jean; brothers-in-law, Ray, Alf, Walter, Dick and Ed; sisters-in-law, May, Millie and Doris; niece Sadie; nephews, Gordon and Rick. Alice was raised and attended school in Elmwood. She started and finished her working life with Eatons. During her married life as well as raising her family she enjoyed travelling with Bud. They enjoyed their trips to Calgary and Vancouver visiting relatives. After retiring many enjoyable times were spent with the Eager Beavers Club, the "Y", Carpet bowling as well as attending many social gatherings. Travel again played an important part in their lives with trips to Florida, Hawaii, and several trips to Australia. She will be remembered as a lady who enjoyed life. She now joins her beloved husband Bud. Vale dear Alice. Rest in Peace.
