In Grand Rapids she captured the heart of Rick, the love of her life, whom she married. However, by far the happiest day of her life was when their son Richie was born, from then on Elsies life revolved around her two "boys". Elsie was a very loyal, dedicated and trustworthy friend. She became an involved community member. Elsie volunteered her services wherever and whenever she was needed. Excelling as a hockey mom, she also had time to be an avid curling and bowling fanatic. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, travelling and camping and hunting with her boys. But her number one position and career choice was that of wife and mother. Elsie was also fondly known as "Auntie" by her family. She will be sadly missed by many.
