RAYMOND ZANE SIMCOE 1953 - 2003 Suddenly on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 we lost Ray, our soul mate, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, mentor and friend. Ray will be sadly missed by his life long partner Valerie Bychuk; sister Janice Simcoe; sister-in-law Carole Williams; nephew Todd Ewach (Susie) niece Andrea (Bruce) Bedard; great-nieces and great-nephews, Harmony, Brenden and Destiny Ewach, Chantal, Desiree and Drake Bedard, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ray was predeceased by his parents Olive Simcoe in September 1978 and Zane Simcoe in June 1998; grandparents; in-laws Anne and John Bychuk also brother-in-law Cliff Williams in November 2000. Ray was born on April 4, 1953 and lived his entire life in Winnipeg. Ray attended Collicutt School, Jefferson Jr. High School and Garden City Collegiate. Upon completion of High School, Ray found employment with the City of Winnipeg in April 1974. For the last 18 years he was with Emergency Services, Water Works Department.
