SHIRLEY RUTH WASYLKIW After a courageous battle with cancer we announce the passing of Shirley Wasylkiw, wife of Michael Wasylkiw. Shirley was predeceased by her father Edward and brother Jack Spencer. Shirley leaves to mourn her husband Michael; her mother Iris Faso; her brothers, Barry and Bruce Spencer along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Shirley grew up in Winnipeg and spent most of her early years working with her husband at their Insurance Agency and enjoying the summers at Spruce Sands on Lake Winnipeg. Later in her life she spent her winters in Arizona where she belonged to a dance group called the Val Vista Tappers and a golf group called the Golden Niners. She loved her home in Arizona and the friends she made there. Shirley was a very quiet unassuming person who loved her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her lunch group and her Shooting Star group. Most of all she will be missed by her husband of 39 years, she was his best friend. In accordance with Shirleys wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
