Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNIE JOSEPH BIELINSKI Peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home, Bernie Bielinski, dearly beloved husband of the late Kay Bielinski, passed away at the age of 81 years. Bernie was born on December 6, 1922 and raised in Ituna, SK. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. He married Kay on November 20, 1949 and together raised six children. Bernie was a member of the Brooklands Rod and Gun Club for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and could tell many stories of the big one that got away. He was also a member of the Beausejour and Tyndall Legions for the past 24 years. Mom and Dad lived in the Tyndall/Garson area for many years until retiring to their cottage at Bird River. A short time after, they moved into Lac du Bonnet where he resided at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home until his passing. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Dianne Webb of Winnipeg, Lynda (Jim) Schichl of Tyndall, Laura (Albert) Herie of Winnipeg, Jean Bielinski of Ile des Chenes, Alan (Georgina) of Red Deer, AB, Joe (Margaret) of St. Andrews and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Vickie Ward of Winnipeg, Rose Johnson of Toronto, ON, and sister-in-law Betty Bilinski of Chatham, ON; brothers-in-law, Roy (Lillian) Cole of Calgary, AB, and Steve Kolopenuk of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as well as numerous other relatives. Besides his wife Kay, he was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Emilia; his brothers, Julien, Jerry, and Edward and his brothers-in-law, Paul Ward, Jack Johnson and Mike Kolopenuk. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 2:30 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue E., Beausejour, with Rev. Deacon Bill Woodbeck presiding. Family and friends may view prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Tyndall cemetery. Pallbearers will be Colleen Zeman, Ryan Schichl, Christopher and Anthony Bielinski, Stephen Nechwediuk and Jim Schichl. The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff of the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home for their loving care and compassion.
