BEATRICE CROWE August 20, 1917 - December 30, 2003 Mrs. Crowe passed away peacefully at Oakview Place Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband David in 1974 and brother Alfred in 1984. She will be missed by friends M. Patterson, J. Haden-Luck and M. Young. Beatrice was born in Hamilton, ON, moving to Winnipeg at an early age, with her parents and living in St. James for a number of years. Beatrice enjoyed sports and was particularly fond of swimming and bowling. She was also fond of nature and did extensive travelling. A special thank you to Oakview staff for their compassionate care. "Death is not extinguishing the light, it is merely putting out the candle because the dawn has come" Funeral services will be held on Monday January 5, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway.
