MARION GANDY On December 31, 2003, Marion Gandy passed away peacefully at Oakview Place in her 86th year. She is survived by her son Ian. Marion resided in St. James all her life. Marion will be missed by her brother Doug, sister-in-law Pat, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Frank; brother Don; by her parents, Donald and Gertrude McNabb; and by her brother-in-law Harold; and sister-in-law Becky. Marion was a very knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful person. Marion was a very strong supporter on Winnserv Inc. She volunteered many hours in support of this organization. Marion will always be remembered as being a wonderful mother to Ian. She spent countless hours to raising her son. Special thank-you to Oakview Place and the staff. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. in the James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marions memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg.
