DOREEN MARY GOODMAN Suddenly, at her home, on Tuesday, December 30, 2003, Doreen Mary Goodman died at the age of 59 years. She leaves to mourn, her husband, Samuel Patrick Goodman, of Meleb, MB; her three children, Samantha, Rosie and Christine; grandchildren; father Don Law; brother Bobby Law; as well as numerous family and friends. Doreen was very involved in St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church in Gimli, MB. Prayers will be held on Sunday, January 4 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, 112 Sixth Avenue (on No. 9 Hwy.) in Gimli, MB. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, also in the Church, on Monday, January 5 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Art Seaman presiding. For those who wish, viewing will be held one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Holy Ghost Gimli Ridge Cemetery, located on Hwy. 231. WOJCIKS ALL BELIEFS & FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665

  • She baked delicious goodies and will be missed for her wholesome baked delights. She had a giant garden in the yard that grew some of the best organic vegitables and fresh herbs every season. She had reacquainted herself with hobbies that made her happy, art and painting being one of those hobbies. She also dabbled in other mediums such as creating ice sculptress in the winter as Christmas decorations. Her dream was to own a beautiful house on the lake as she loved being near water. Aside from being an OCD neat freak, she loved to sit down and relax to her soap operas as a form of escape or retreating into one of her romance novels with Fabio on the front cover before falling asleep. She was an industrious woman who made her own homemade root beer and dandelion wine, and knew how to stretch a dollar. She always worked hard to please others, and worried about herself last. To this day and always, she is missed by everyone who had been lucky enough to have her as a friend in their life. Rest in Peace Doreen. - Posted by: Cara () on: May 29, 2013
