PATRICIA ANNE MONIAS On Tuesday, December 30, 2003 with her family at her side, our beloved mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, Patricia Anne Monias passed away at the age of 58 years. She leaves to mourn her sons, Vincent Monias, Daniel and Andre Roy, Carl Monias, Reg Erickson and Clarence McConnell and numerous grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her numerous sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and her two great-aunts, Nellie Cromarty and Bella Queskekapow. Patsy was predeceased by her parents, John Arthur and Dorothy Monias; sister Isabel Bearshield; stepfather Henry Fredette; uncle John Wesley; grandparents, Edward and Martha Monias, Lazarus and Louisa Beardy and niece Jennifer Weenusk. Viewing and prayers will take place on Sunday, January 4 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue at Parr, Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 5 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dietrich Desmarais officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Honourary pallbearers will be Paul Albert, Paul Fredette, Marcel Fredette, Dean Jones, Gilbert Fredette and Jason Godwin. Active pallbearers will be her sons, Daniel and Andre Roy; her nephews, Preston, Ryan and Lindsay Fredette, Roland and Glenn Weenusk and Richard Godwin.
