ROBERT KYOSUKE MORI Peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2004 Robert Kyosuke Mori passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 80. He was predeceased by his sisters, Toshiko, Chizuko and brother Miki. He is survived by his wife Mary; children, Marlene, Doreen (Doug Wilkie), Ken and Dan; grandson Cameron Wilkie and sister Sumiyo (Toshio) Yamada. Dad was born in Haney, BC on April 28, 1923. He came to Winnipeg from British Columbia in his mid 20s. Dad and Mom were married in May of 1948 and were together for 55 years. Dad worked mainly for CP Express as a truck driver for 31 years before retiring in 1986. One of Dads favourite pastimes was the time he got to spend fishing with his family and friends, as well as time spent watching sports on TV. Dad was very proud of his grandson Cameron and greatly enjoyed the times they spent together. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th Floor Unit 3 for their care and support, as well as Dr. Meyrowitz.
