Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN NAFOSTOWICZ (NAFTEN) 1922 - 2004 Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Lillian passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2004 at the Concordia Hospital. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Steven August 20, 1973 and her daughter Caroline Cobb January 15, 1997. She leaves to mourn her daughters and a son; Vivien (Bob) Garrity, Beverlee (Jim) Garrity, Gayle (Bob) James, John (Diane) Naften and Cindy (Harvey) Mueller. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Steve Boitson and Fred (Bernice) Boitson and sister Pauline Zelenitsky and sister and best friend Helen Hoel. Lillian was born near Komarno, MB and was devoted to her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her warm, loving hospitality will never be forgotten. No one ever left her home hungry or empty handed. We hold you close within our hearts, and there you will remain, to walk with us throughout our lives, until we meet again. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7 at McDermot Avenue, Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Ave. Flowers gratefully appreciated or if you prefer, please donate to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, R3C 0S6, or the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., R3C 2B7.
