CLAIRE WEINSHENKER July 14, 1914 - January 1, 2004 With her daughters by her side, Claire Weinshenker, peacefully passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Claire was a loving wife, mother, sister and Bobba. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Harry; her parents, Isaac and Rebecca and her sister Manya. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Ruby and Reta (Marvin) grandchildren, Stephanie and Jonathan; brothers, Aaron (Sybil), Irvin (Becky) and brother and sister-in-law, Isaac and Elsie. Claire will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends, her intelligence and keen sense of humour, her passion for music and bridge and her determination to live life to the fullest. Very special thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks (ICU), Cardiac Ward and unit 4-8, Doctor Lei, Marietta, Dr. Rabson, Sharon, Jasna and Sandy from Home Care for adding to the quality of moms life. Funeral services were held at the Chesed Shel Emes, on January 4 with burial at the Bnay Abraham Cemetery. Rabbi Weizman officiated. Active pallbearers were Marvin and Jonathan Avery, Harold, Allan and Adam Weinshenker and Lowell Ruvinsky. Honorary pallbearers were Aaron Ruvinsky and Isaac Weinshenker. Donations in Claires memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
