JACK YOUNG Born March 31, 1933 in Swan River, MB, passed away peacefully Monday, December 29, 2003. Predeceased by his father Edward; mother Margret; brothers, Bob and Norman; sister Ella Dodman; and brother-in-law Al Dodman. Survived by sisters, Edna Lynch (Bill), Pearl Burke (Bill) brothers, Gordon and Alvin (Lorraine) and numerous nieces and nephews. As a young man Jack lived and worked in Kirkfield Park for many years. His first love was his family and especially his mother. From a young age he had a boundless interest and a great store of knowledge of animals and growing things that lasted all his life. Jack was a born storyteller and never forgot a birthday. He was a kind man, respected by family and friends. Sadly missed. A memorial service and wake is to be held on January 5, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the St. Vital Legion, 554 St. Marys Rd.
