VIOLET APPLEYARD 1912 - 2004 Violet Appleyard passed away peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Red River Place in Selkirk, at the age of 92. Violet was born April 28, 1912 in the Argyle district. She lived most of her adult life in MacGregor, MB. She is survived by her daughter Betty of St. Claude, MB. Brothers, Leslie (Anne), Bruce (Shirley) sister Dorothy Campbell; sister-in-law Grace Appleyard; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Elizabeth Appleyard; sisters, Elsie Morgan (Bill), Mary Brennan (Ernie), Alice Lavallee (William) sister-in-law Elaine Appleyard and brother-in-law Willard Campbell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Red River Place or a charity of ones choice. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 6 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Interment will take place in Argyle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
